Today was the second time I have been to happy fish and both times it was great. Brought along some of our visiting family this time. Today we tried their house sangria. Highly recommend. All the food was great. Kevin walked us through the menu. Finished out with the Picarones for desert. Will be back!

Absolutely phenomenal! The food speaks for itself--fresh ingredients, incredible options, and outstanding quality. From the Ceviche to the Lomo Saltado, every bite feels like home cooking. What truly sets this restaurant apart is the exceptional customer service. My father, a retired Peruvian restaurant chef and owner, has always been a tough critic (as most Peruvians are with their own cuisine), but Happy Fish exceeded all expectations. The owner went above and beyond to make my mother's birthday celebration in Tampa special. From the warm welcome to the last bite of Picarones, she enjoyed every moment. You made my mamá proud, and for that, you get 5 stars! 10/10 - Highly recommend to others and will definitely be back! Thank you, Happy Fish!

Omg this place made me feel so SO happy! The food is delicious, attention amazing, and the place's ambience is fantastic, they even had some gentle music player with a keyboard and a saxo, very cool!

I enjoyed having Liz as our server. Very pleasant and professional. The food hit the spot as always. Must come hungry!

This food was amazing, place is hidden in the corner of a plaza. It was very cute inside, big spacious dining area. Had my first pisco sour and it was great. Food was so flavorful.

I firmly believe the places where the service barely speaks English are the absolute best. But I believe everyone understands good food and we had no probllamas. We got the Tostones Acevichados $12 to start and loved them, crunchy on the outside and fresh tart ceviche. We thought they were a bit small for the price but we were glad when the Lomo Saltado $18 came. The portion was great for sharing, we felt it was a little on the salty side but still left like happy & stuffed llamas who had to waddle out the door.

Very nice Peruvian place in a plaza corner full of stores and a supermarket. Tried a variety of plates from steak to fish. Lomo Saltado was phenomenal, mashed beans in the bistec was okay, while the pollo was a bit dry. Nonetheless, plates were very solid. Service was great and we were checked on several times. Ambiance is nice and a great vibe to chat and eat. NOTE: Parties of 5 or more will be charged a 20% Service Charge (Menu will say 18%)

I'm a big fan of Peruvian food so I was very excited. I ordered a Pisco Sour immediately. If you have not tried one yet, I highly recommend. The service was friendly and attentive. We ordered the ceviche mixto and the Tallarin Saltado de Carne. The Tallarin was tasty but the ceviche could have been better. Unfortunately, It didn't taste as fresh. Ceviche and Pisco Sour is Peru's most popular staples. The Pisco sour was spot on but the ceviche not so much. Overall it was a great experience and I'm definitely coming back but I was surprised to not see as many ceviche options in the menu.
